Soul
Purpose Ministries International is the name
of the apostolic covering ministry of Apostle
(S/Bishop) John
L. Fonzer Jr. Because of the mantle he carries,
pastors and ministers seek his mentorship
and covering. Since SPMI is
not a denomination or even a fellowship for
that matter, there are no bylaws, no organizational
commitment, or titular protocol. As
a matter of fact, Apostle Fonzer himself is
firmly affixed in an organization.

| Bishop
John Fonzer Jr. is the senior minister of Christ
Tabernacle Church of Richmond, Indiana. A published
author of several books and writer for Perspectives
magazine, he is regarded as an apostle and father
to ministers internationally and nationally. He
serves the Lord as a suffragan bishop in the
Pentecostal Assemblies of
the World. As the president of Soul Purpose Ministries
International, he established an accredited school
of ministry in Togo West Africa in 2002 known as
The Elijah Institute of Ministry and another has
opened in Mankessim, Ghana. In addition, he desires
to open Elijah House, a place of replenishment and
restoration for ministers of the Gospel. He and
his wife have opened a guest room in their home
furnished for that purpose. He is married to Pastor
Valerie Fonzer and is the father of three children. |
